KPCC.org is hiring a blogger to cover immigration/emerging communities

We’ve got an exciting opportunity for a blogger to cover the many faces of Southern California, immigration and what we’re calling emerging communities. This is part of a pilot project with NPR as it explores its digital future.

This is the top of the job description:

The Journalist-Blogger leading the site will be charged w/ building a dedicated online following around coverage of immigration policy & issues affecting southern California communities that are “emerging” into a greater role in society: immigrants & their children & grandchildren. The position requires that the Journalist-Blogger become the area’s most authoritative voice on the issue.
